From Route 1 South: follow route 1 south passing Longwood Gardens, several shopping centers and a Walmart. Continue straight on the dual lane highway. Next exit is Kennett Square/Unionville - at exit turn left on to Route 82 south. Go through 2 red lights (State Street and Cypress Street) Stebbins-Swayne House is the 4th house on the left.

From Philadelphia: follow I-95 South to Route 322 West to Route 1 South. Follow directions above.

From Northeastern Pennsylvania (Route 1 South): Take I-476 (PA Turnpike's Northeast Extension) to US Route 1 South. Follow directions above.

From New York and New Jersey (Route 1 South): Follow New Jersey Turnpike. Take exit #2 onto 322 West to the Commodore Barry Bridge. Cross the bridge to I-95. Follow south to Route 322 West to Route 1 South. The follow directions above.

From Route 1 North: Follow Route 1 North to Route 82, Kennett Square. Make a right onto Route 82. Go through 2 red lights (State Street and Cypress Street) Stebbins-Swayne House is the 4th house on the left.

From Baltimore (Route 1 North): Follow I-95 North to Route 222 (Perryville) exit. Turn right on Route 222 which becomes Route 275. Follow to Route 276 onto Route 276 five miles to Route 1 North. Follow Route 1 North directions above.

From Western Pennsylvania (Route 1 North): Take I-76 (PA Turnpike) east to Harrisburg and take I-283 SE to Lancaster. Stay on I-283 to Route 30 East. Take Route 30 East around Lancaster and turn right on Route 876 (at the Rockvale Outlet Mall). Follow Route 896 for about 25 miles to US Route 1 North. Follow Route 1 North directions above.
